yes, i’m procrastinating. taking yet another break from a long list of duties.  a bit self indulgent, but i can’t help it. taking a quick peek at one of my favorite bloggers (she doesn’t know me, but i will big her up www.flygirls.typepad.com) presented me with the work of mambu bayoh. i have a new photo crush. without seeing an entire body of work, he reminds me of someone. is it newcomer kwesi abbensetts (post on him to follow). maybe it’s a dash of dosumnu or a sprinkle of le goues and yet, his style distinctly his own. not usually an advocate for in front of the camera action, but he has me wanting my portrait taken. maybe we can spend the day together? wondering what the results might be..
